The roots of CROSSMARK go all the way back to 1905. The most significant event occurred on October 1st, 1995, when three sales and marketing companies merged together to form one of the first major multi-regional companies in the grocery sales industry to form what is now known as CROSSMARK. The initial merging companies were the Gordon Company based in Dallas, Texas; SALES MARK/ALPHA ONE, based in Little Rock, Arkansas; and The Phillips Company, based in Birmingham, Alabama.
