Our Leaders

David Baxley was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CROSSMARK in 2002. Under his leadership, CROSSMARK has become one of the leading providers of business services to manufacturers and retailers in the consumer goods industry. David’s leadership is further defined by his relentless work ethic, passion for the consumer goods industry, and strong management skills.
 
David began his career with CROSSMARK 30 years ago as a retail sales representative in Little Rock, Arkansas. One year later, he was promoted to supervisor and then sales manager. In 1981, he became president of the Memphis Operating Division and then president of the company’s total Food Brokerage Business in 1987. In 1996, David relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he assumed the position of secretary and vice president of CROSSMARK. Two years later, he became executive vice president of CROSSMARK. A few years after that, David was named CROSSMARK’s chief operations officer before becoming CEO in 2002.

David spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps before receiving his Bachelor’s in Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
